Hello! We’re glad you are here. By trade, Stacy holds MN Department of Education teaching licenses as a Speech Language Pathologist, CCC-SLP and Autism Resource Specialist/Special Education Teacher. More importantly, she is a passionate Waldorf mom, a lifelong learner, a creative, and an open book who loves to develop and share resources that make others’ lives easier. She is an empath and a sensitive person with a heightened compassion and connection to others. She has a keen sense of observing and interpreting others’ communication and behavior, and loves using that skill to help others.
Stacy has been an SLP-CCC (Speech Language Pathologist accredited by the American Speech Hearing Association) in the school setting for 23 years, and throughout that time, have realized and acted on her passion for ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders) as well as Speech Language Development.
Stacy understands children’s communication development, how to relate children and their families, childrens’ feelings and behaviors, and can sense how their environment is impacting them. She thoroughly knows the special education world, and has the gift of taking it all into account to best serve our children. Stacy’s authenticity in connecting with the adults in our children’s lives, the parents and educators, helps to build partnerships and understanding.
Stacy enjoys observing, problem solving, and creating tools for children to use to improve their understanding of the world around them, especially in communicating with others. As a parent of a beautifully sensitive child who thrives in Waldorf education, Stacy has used her intuition and years of training and education to understand her, advocate for her, and empower her to navigate her own sensitivities.
Stacy is passionate about advocating for what our children need, creating tools that help them and educating the others in the child’s environment about all of it. Children with anxiety, sensitivities, autism, and similar neurological combinations have unique learning styles different than their peers at times. Understanding how our children process information is key to knowing which strategies they could benefit and learn from. Behavior IS communication. Schedule a free connection call with Stacy today!
